Welcome to Dragonstone Stories.

This project is now in its second year of development and I am delighted to announce that we have signed a contract to publish our first book, The Wonders of the Peculiar Parasol with a target availability date of October 10, 2019.  Additionally, we have also signed a contract to continue the Dragonstone Stories series with a second book to be published as soon as possible. The publisher of our work is Cresting Wave Publishing (gocwpub.com).

I intend to use the Blog section of our website to alert you about upcoming book signings and tell you how the stories came about, to explain how I created the names of characters and places, and to provide other tidbits of information related to the young heroine of the book, Mandy Mandez, and her extended family.

Like my own family, Mandy has many cousins and aunts and uncles. My own great-grandmother was 90 years and one week older than me –and for a number of years before she passed away at 99, we celebrated our birthdays together. Additionally, like Mandy, I have cousins my same age (five in fact), and two of them lived in the same small town and were in the same class with me from K-12.

In the book, you will read how Mandy and her cousins find an enchanted parasol and discover that they (and their families) have magical powers.  While The Wonders of the Peculiar Parasol contains witches and wizards and dragons and magic, its main theme is all about family and relationships.
